AT for every body

An accessible and inclusive approach to mind-body awareness

What is the Alexander Technique?

The Alexander Technique (AT) is a mind-body awareness building practice. Through hands-on and verbal guidance, you learn a process for better understanding how you move and think and then how to move through the world in an easier way with less pain and effort.

Who is AT for?

The Alexander Technique is everyone! It is a good fit for anyone:

  • Dealing with chronic pain

  • Living with chronic illness and conditions

  • Living with hypermobility and/or EDS

  • Looking to improve their balance and posture

  • Looking for more mind-body awareness

  • Looking for ease of movement

  • Looking for pain relief in daily activities like working at the computer

  • Looking for a greater sense of embodiment

  • Wanting to improve presence and performance in their art form

“Every instruction from Kari stems from a deep knowledge of anatomy in movement, and honors what is possible for your body at that moment.” - Kerry R.
